The Egg Diaries – Scrambled

Welcome to the second instalment of THE EGG DIARIES! Today we will be gettin’ all scrambley up in here, my friends. Read on for NOT ONE but TWO foolproof how-to’s for cooking scrambled eggs.

Ye Olde Traditional

You will need:
✩ 2-3 x eggs
✩ 1 tablespoon cream or milk (cream will make it creamier)
✩ Salt & pepper
✩ A frypan

1. Break the eggs into a bowl
2. Add the cream or milk – whisk
3. Season with salt and pepper (not too much salt or this will cause the eggs to separate)
4. Pour into a frypan on low heat (cook gently for fluffier eggs!)
5. Gently push the eggs around the frypan until only just cooked
6. Serve!

Lazy Man’s Way

You will need:
✩ 2 x eggs
✩ 1 teaspoon of butter
✩ 1/2 cup of milk
✩ Salt & pepper

✩ A microwave

1. Melt butter in microwave safe bowl
2. Add eggs and milk – whisk well
3. Season with salt and pepper (not too much salt or this will cause the eggs to separate)
4. Cook on medium in microwave for 3 minutes
5. Whisk, cook for a further 3 minutes on medium
6. Serve!

Additional Tip: Scrambled eggs can be super yummy with added extras such as ham & cheese or spinach & feta 🙂

If you give these a try, let us know about your eggy escapades in the comments below!

Love,
FTC xx
